Jacqueline Beverly Sies, 88 years old, of Denison Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep, on October 30, 2024. Jackie placed her faith in Jesus as Savior and has passed into her eternal home in heaven.
Jackie was born in Deadwood, South Dakota in 1935 to Floyd Alfred and Lucille Virginia Harbeck. She resided in Deadwood until she moved to Santa Rosa California in 1948. Jackie graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1954. Her first job was as a telephone operator on a switchboard. She met and married Robert Eugene Sies, and had three daughters. Years later Jackie moved to Texas where she resided in North Texas for the remaining 28 years of her life. Jackie went to Haiti on a Missions Trip in 1997. Jackie was a member of the Daughter’s of the King.
She had many hobbies over the years including volunteering as a candy striper at hospitals, painting, making jewelry and especially enjoying her constant companion, her dog Lavender Lace (aka Laci).
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Floyd Harbeck, Lucille Derrig and her sister Joan Vinson. She is survived by her brother George and his wife Ginny Williams of Madison MS; her three daughters and their spouses, Ginger and Bill Adkins of Castle Rock CO, Tammy and Kevin Biggar of Bonham TX, and Robin and Scott Anderson of Santa Rosa, CA; four grand children and their spouses, Andrew and Ashley Spencer of Bonham TX, Audrey Terbush of Bay City Michigan, Grace and Toby Mallard of Sherman TX, and Holly Anderson of Santa Rosa, CA and four great-grand children, Aidan and Teagan Spencer of Bonham TX and Ashton and Nora Terbush of Bay City Michigan.
A funeral will be held on November 16th, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church located at 7th and Star, Bonham TX, at 10am. Jackie will be interred at Santa Rosa Memorial Park in California.
