Helen Fletcher born in New Orleans. Louisiana on November 15th, 1948, to the late Joseph Brown and Augeritta Green. Helen left peacefully to be with our heavenly father on December 9, 2021, at Farmersville Health and rehabilitation center in Farmersville, Texas.
Helen’s life and legacy was about living and working for the Lord. She dedicated her life to winning souls for Christ, she would often be found passing out flyers and pamphlets explaining Gods love to anyone that would listen. Helen gave her life to Christ and joined Fairview Baptist Church pastored by Rev. Andrew Darby Jr. where she served as an Usher. Once she moved, she found a new church home at Mount Carmel Baptist Church located in the lower 9th ward of New Orleans where she would serve for many years until she relocated to Dallas, Texas to make it her home. Everyone who knew Helen loved her.
She leaves her loving family to cherish her memories she is survived by her children; Karen Davenport of Compton CA, Clarence Washington of Sherman TX, Dionne Farlough of Rockwall TX.; Her brothers Alvin (Marilyn) Brown of California and Joseph Brown Junior of California.; Her sisters Linda (Bill) Spiller of California, Joel Reaux, Aunt Joyce Jackson of New Orleans, LA.; Cousins Ackie , Corless Gains
Her grandkids; Ackuvanda Labostrie, Sean Davenport, Kendrick Washington, Oliver Miller, Dexter Farlough, Catera Farlough, Davin Farlough and 4 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents Augeritta Green and Joseph brown.; Husband Moses Fletcher.; Grandparents Sister Julia maples; Aunt Frances Johnson, Angelina Green, Pauline Richards, Geneva Richards.; Uncle Frank Richards.; Grandchildren Gary Davenport, Tyler Washington, Kevin Farlough and son-in-law Barry Farlough
