Harold Dean Duncan

Harold Dean Duncan, 78, of Rockwall went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 17, 2018 in Dallas. Memorial services celebrating Harold’s life will be held 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Casa View Assembly of God Church in Dallas.

Harold was born on May 14, 1940 in Weleetka, Oklahoma. He is the son of the late Bervel Earl and Margaret Alma White Duncan. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma and moved to Texas as a young adult. Harold married Dorothy Stanfield on May 22, 1971. They made their home in Garland where they raised their family prior to her passing on June 16, 2016. He owned and managed rental properties in Dallas throughout his career. He was a devoted follower of Christ and was a longtime member of Urban Park Assembly of God and was currently attending Casa View Assembly of God. Harold was also preceded in death by his sisters Goldie Smith, Bonnie Ruth Duncan and brother J.W. Duncan. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is loved and will be missed by his daughters Heather Dickens of Rockwall, Courtney Hass and husband Kelly of Rockwall; grandchildren Braeden Hass, Griffin Hass, Amelia Dickens; sisters Bernell Cline of St. Louis, MO, Pauline Bryant of Norman, OK, Pat Hollingshead of Tulsa, OK, Jean Knighten of Tulsa, OK and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
