Glynn Ray McIntire, age 63, of Lone Oak, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Ingram Funeral Home with visitation 1 hour prior to service. The burial will be at Royse City Cemetery.
Glynn Ray McIntire was born on October 17, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas to Marvin Clyde McIntire and Mary Lorene Coble McIntire. He was raised in Quinlan and attended Quinlan ISD. He graduated from East Texas University with an associate’s degree in communications but was a truck driver by trade. He married Lori Ann Gansner on February 20, 2020, in Lone Oak, Texas. Glynn enjoyed fishing, camping, and arrowhead hunting. He also enjoyed driving around, listening to music while antiquing for treasures.
He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his wife, Lori McIntire of Lone Oak; son, Reece McIntire of Plano; daughter, Kaila McIntire of Rowlett; Stepsons, Keith Smith of Quinlan and Grady Vollintine of Lone Oak; brother, Phillip McIntire of Quinlan; sister, Beverly Clark and husband Marlon of Quinlan; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Woods.
