Gloria "Grandma" Lavern (Williams) Graham

Gloria Lavern Williams Graham age 81 of Quinlan passed away on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2023.

Gloria “Grandma” Lavern Williams Graham, age 81, of Quinlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 17, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 6:00P.M. Friday, March 31, 2023, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Honorary pallbearers for her service will be Jay, Jase, Edd, Canaan and Trent

Gloria was born on September 21, 1941, in Houston, Texas and raised in Sweetwater, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Daniel Williams Sr. and Florence Nora Williams. Gloria was a talented soccer player and attended Eastfield College in Dallas, earning her degree in accounting. She met a handsome Air Force Airmen, Joe Harrell Graham in Las Vegas and they married on May 11, 1963, in Elk City, Oklahoma. Gloria loved being an Air Force wife. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and living overseas in Spain and Japan.  Joe preceded her in death on October 31, 1981, after 18 wonderful years of marriage. In 1986, Gloria met and married her second husband, Walter E. Clifton and he also preceded her in death on December 3, 2004. She worked as an accountant for MHMR Dallas, where she met her best friend of 50 years, Debbie Harris. Gloria remained with MHMR until her retirement. Following her retirement, she worked for Dallas Morning News and Tawakoni News. Gloria was an avid book reader and especially enjoyed Mysteries. Her favorite color was green. She loved watching football and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.  Gloria was known as ‘grandma’ to most. She will be remembered for her loving heart and giving nature. She always put others first. She had a kind heart and giving nature. Family meant everything to Gloria, and she never missed a moment to brag about her beautiful grandkids.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Jennifer Andrews of Quinlan,  stepson, Walter Clifton of Haworth, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jay Andrews and wife Kimberly of Greenville, Janee Redd and husband Edd of Fate, Jarae Andrews of Lone Oak, Michael Eidson and wife Melody of Caddo Mills, Marcus Eidson of Quinlan, Danny Westbrook of Haworth, Oklahoma, Edwin Clifton of Irving and Jeannie Clifton of Irving; great grandchildren, Jase, Kambree, Canaan.  She also had many nieces and nephews.
