Gerald Glasscock, age 85, of Wills Point, born to Auva Theodore and Helen Ruth Glasscock in Caddo Mills and raised in Greenville, passed peacefully at home with his loving family by his side.
Gerald attended Floyd ISD, Texas A&M of Commerce and Texas Tech University. He worked for Radio Shack, ACT, Halliburton Corporation, Republic National Life Ins., Life of Southwest Ins. He retired from the Hunt Co. as the 911 Coordinator, where he set up the Hunt CO. 911 address system. He married the love of his life Trenna on June 16, 1990, in Wills Point. Gerald loved fishing, traveling to the beach but rarely got in the ocean but did enjoy spending time with family. He took great pride in his wood working.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Trenna, sons: Gregg and Adrianna of Kaufman, Kevin and wife Elaine of Dallas, Ken Adkins of Collinsville, daughters: Kitsie and husband Willie McDowell of Caddo Mills, Sissy Smothermon of Whitesboro, Stephanie and husband Doug O’Neal of Celina, brother, Billy and wife Kim Glasscock of Sunnyvale, sisters: Linda and husband Martin Strand of Greenville, Sue Gibbs of West Tawakoni, grandkids: Gerald Allen Glasscock, William McDowell and wife Shayla, Jordan McDowell and wife Cyndle, Erin Glasscock, Kylie Glasscock, Len Smothermon and wife Nicole, Cayla Fanning and husband Wes, Critter O’Neal, Kenny Adkins and wife Rosie, Breanna Snyder and husband Joey, Brady O’Neal, Trey O’Neal, Luke O’Neal, Trinity Adkins, great-grandkids: JJ, Tori, Finley, Parker, Wylie, Axel, Shay, Grady, Zane, Raylan, Kaycee, Emelia, Carter, River, Blakely due in 1 week.
Preceded in death by parents, Auva and Helen Glasscock, and first wife Kay Glasscock.
