Geary Dean Cason, born on October 4, 1957, in Abilene, Texas, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Point, Texas. A talented musician, Geary developed a love for music at a young age, becoming a part of a band called the Musical Messengers when he was just 10 years old. His passion for gospel music took him on travels far and wide, sharing his gift with many. Known for his exceptional ability to play almost any instrument, Geary's heart belonged to the bass, which he played with great skill and joy.
Geary's vibrant spirit was a source of inspiration to those around him. He leaves behind his beloved father, Paul Cason, and his mother, Betty Cason, along with his brother, Dennis Cason. His legacy continues through his two sons, Cody Rabe and Jacob Rabe, and his cherished grandchildren: Owen Windle, Charlie Renee, Isaiah Dean, and Natalie Anne. Geary is also survived by his nieces, Becky Cason and Paula Jeffery, and his daughters-in-law, Lacey Rabe and Chelsea Rabe.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Geary's life with them. A visitation will be held at Clarks Chapel Church of God on October 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on October 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM. His memory will live on through the music he shared and the love he gave to all.
