Gail Jean Heard, born on August 7, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Quinlan, Texas, at the age of 72. She is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca Beaver and son-in-law Jody Beaver; her son, Joseph Botch and daughter-in-law Maritess Botch; cherished grandson, Joshua Beaver, adopted son Richard White, and sister Vivian Daughtery.
She graduated with a degree in Sociology, with a focus in Social Work from Texas A&M Commerce, where Gail chose to be an advocate for people with disabilities. Gail became a dedicated Nurses Aid who devoted her life to caring for others in the health care industry. Her unwavering compassion extended beyond her profession into every aspect of her life. She enjoyed fishing in the tranquil waters of Texas, where she found joy and peace.
A talented crafter, Gail loved to create beautiful handmade items and shared her passion as a crafting vendor in Canton, Texas, where she made lasting connections and friendships. Music was a big part of her life, filling her home with melody and joy that resonated with everyone around her.
Her spirit will be forever cherished by her family and friends, who remember her for her kindness, creativity, and love of life. Gail's presence in their lives will be missed, but her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Gail is preceded in death by her parents Gene Heard and Belle Heard along with an adopted son Wendell White.
