Faye Carter Obituary

Faye Marlene Carter, age 61, of Quinlan, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00P.M. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Marlene Carter was born on Thursday, December 14, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Marvin Arnold and Nina Christopher. She attended Carter High School in Dallas. She married Chris Manseau in 2004 and they made their home in Quinlan. Marlene was a devoted housewife, loving nana, and a proud dog mom. Her life revolved around her family, and she loved to spoil her beautiful grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the ID Channel, Criminal Minds and True Crime Documentaries. She also loved to play games on her phone and crochet. Marlene was a wonderful cook, but her specialty was her famous chicken & dumplings, her meatloaf, and wonderful fried chicken. Marlene was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and 1990’s grunge rock music.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her devoted Husband, Chris Manseau of Quinlan; Sons, Michael Steven Carter and partner Jessica of Temple and Christopher Lee Manseau of Tyler; Daughters, Nina Amanda Carter and partner Taylor and Amber Marie Covington both of Quinlan; the father of her 3 children, Michael Carter; 12 Grandchildren, 5 Brothers, 4 Sisters; and her two K9 kids, Barber, and Scooby.
