Earvin Keith Malone was born on Sunday, June 11, 1972, in Dallas, Texas. He was the only child born to Mr. Earvin Malone and Mrs. Shirley Lee Roberts Malone. He attended Grand Prairie High School and was a member of the school soccer team. He enlisted into the United States Army in 1992 and honorably served his country until 1994. Earvin was a machine operator for Karat and worked in construction. Ervin had a natural talent for tile setting, wood working and remodeling. Those talents paid off when he met the love of his life, Nychol Edwards, while working on a rental property in 2009.
Earvin was also a skilled Chess player but also enjoyed playing Pictionary, Mexican Train Dominos, and Spoons. He had an awesome sense of humor and was always the center of attention. He had a competitive nature and an adventurous spirit. Whether it was coaching for Boles little league football team or riding go carts with friends and family, Earvin made it a competition. His hobbies included fishing, rock climbing, karaoke, and diamond painting.
He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Nychol Edwards of Quinlan; son, Payton Edwards of Quinlan; daughter, Jaydin Edwards of Quinlan; and several aunts and cousins.
