Earon Roger Keen, born on March 8, 1960, in Ganado, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, at the age of 65. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, leaving behind his wife, Angela Keen, his mother Natha Ricks, sisters Audrey Husak, Patricia Roberts, Carolyn Lozano and Leah Keen; brothers Michael Keen and Cory Keen and an incredible brood that includes his children Holly Williams, Brittany Johnson, Cody Keen, Brian Keen, Megan Templeton, and Cecilia Keen. Roger's legacy will continue through his grandchildren: Casen, Chase, Conner, Lilah, Owen, Heidi, Leah, Peyton, Kevin, Karman, Ava, Lydia, and Paisley.
Roger was a master electrician with a passion for his work at Texas Instruments, where he dedicated many years and gained an impressive understanding of the plant. Outside of work, he had a zest for life that was reflected in his hobbies. He loved his pontoon boat, often driving it fast just for the thrill rather than for fishing. Roger had fond memories of hunting with his father and brother, looking forward to more trips with his brother Mike once retirement came around. You could often find him on his tractor, lovingly claiming it was the best tractor ever made and often insisting that bigger was better, whether that meant a piece of equipment or a barrel of mayo.
Roger's larger-than-life personality and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His unique sense of humor and love for storytelling made every gathering special. The memories of his joyful laughter, pride in his family, and passion for life will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Earon was preceded in death by his father Earon Wayne Keen, sister Linda Harnar, and son Kevin Kiper.
