Dorsey D. Whiddon, age 79, of West Tawakoni, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on November 8, 2021,

Dorsey was born to Joe Whiddon and Nona Whiddon in Sonora, Texas on April 11, 1942, and raised in Sonora .He attended Cuero High School and then, he served his country by being one of the best in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. He was a long-haul truck driver, and a collector of guns, and enjoyed spending time with his kids. Did enjoy a good fight with a fish or two from time to time.

Survived by his sons, Danny W. Hanna Jr. ,and Joe F Whiddon, daughters, Melissa Whiddon West, Wanda Waldrum, Linda Sue Willett, Kathy Youney, and brother, William J. Whiddon, Grandchildren, Evelene Renee Luna, Angela Meyer, Rebecca Short, Danny Hanna, Andrew Medeles Jr. , Raul Saenz, Bryan Saenz, Jarimie Saenz, Bradley Saenz, Brie Whiddon, great-grandchildren, Sayla Luna, Alexis White, Noah Fuentes, Madiosn Fuentes, Andrea Medeles, Daniel Medeles, Danny Hanna the 4th, Alise Hanna, Aurora Saenz, Jaxson Saenz, Liam Saenz, Iris Saenz, Collin Meyer, Christian Meyer, Catherine Meyer.

Preceded in death by; his wife of 47 yrs., Evelene Whiddon, parents Joe Whiddon and Nona Whiddon, sister Lois Moran, Betty J. McLester, Mary Lou Umphres, Florence Witcher McCoy, Katie Lee Neitch.

He will be missed by all who loved him.
