Debby Cleere Obituary

Debby Decker Cleere, born on November 13, 1957, in Terrell, TX, left this world on July 6, 2026, surrounded by love and memories. She was a dedicated aide in the home health industry, where her warm heart and selfless spirit touched the lives of many.

A proud veteran of the Air Force, Debby enlisted on January 11, 1979, and honorably served until April 23, 1980, achieving the rank of Airman. Her commitment to service was a testament to her strong character.

Debby's greatest passion was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, Dylan and Austin Doherty, great grandchildren Elena, Liam, and Kaystin Doherty. Whose laughter and joy were the light of her life. She was known to speak fondly of the times shared with them, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Debby's love for racing was a vibrant part of her life. Growing up, she shared unforgettable experiences racing cars with her dad, a passion that would shape her adventurous spirit. Together with her husband, Robert Cleere, she participated in Shrine activities, fostering a sense of community and goodwill.

In addition to her family and racing, Debby enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-spending quality time with friends and loved ones. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Debby is survived by her husband, Robert Cleere, and her mother, Pauline Decker, both of Quinlan, TX. Her brother Howard Decker and wife Glenda of Cedar Hill, Tn. Stepdaughter Natasha Ovalle and wife Michelle of Haslet, TX. Her grandsons Austin and wife Katie of Palestine, TX. Dylan Doherty of Garland, TX. And her great grand children. As well as Many cousins, nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a commitment to family that will endure through those she touched.

Celebratory funeral services will be held to honor Debby's life and legacy, where family and friends will come together to share stories and remember the incredible woman she was.

Debby was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Decker; brother Gary Decker, husband David Doherty, and husband Terry Whitaker.
