Dane Byron Rockafellow, born on June 8, 1964, in Santa Barbara, California, passed away on November 20, 2025. He is survived by his sister, Debra Foreman Glueck, and her husband Craig of Grayridge, MO; beloved aunts, Jo Ann Cheyne of Garland, TX ; and JayNell Roberts of Point, TX; his uncle, Charles Foreman, and wife, Ann of Emory, TX; numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Known affectionately as the "Texas Tornado" for his remarkable karaoke skills, Dane brought joy to many. Despite being legally blind, he achieved significant accolades, including a gold medal in track and field at the Special Olympics in Illinois. He dedicated twenty years as the Bell Ringer Extraordinaire for the Salvation Army, exemplifying his spirit of generosity and community service.
Dane was an enthusiastic bowler and a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, displaying an unwavering loyalty to his team. His vibrant personality and ability to uplift those around him will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He will be laid to rest in Smyrna Cemetery in Emory, Texas, on December 3, 2025, with a graveside service beforehand at 2:00 p.m. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, reminding everyone of his vibrant spirit and enduring happiness.
Dane is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Knepp Foreman, and Father, Jackie Foreman; his aunt, Marie Bullard, and uncle, Herschel Bullard Sr.; his uncle, James H. Cheyne; and his uncle, Jim Roberts.
