Dana Rena Smith, 53, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 27, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Ingram Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to a visitation prior to the service at 2:00 PM.

Dana was born on October 24, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to Mr. Willie Paul Smith and Mrs. Mollie Lee Smith. She grew up in the Quinlan area, and was an insurance agent for Geico for many years. Dana loved spending time with her family, especially while on vacation to the beach. She also enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and boating on the lake. Dana took great pleasure in shopping and listening to Elvis, but her greatest joy in life was being “Mimi.” She is loved and will be missed deeply by all of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Willie Paul Smith and Mrs. Mollie Lee Smith; her brother, Coy Ray Smith; her uncles, Tommy McGee and Freddie Smith; and her aunt, Nell Smith.

Dana is survived by her husband, Gary Cannon; her children, Jennifer Saulters and husband Jeff, and their children, Daniel, Dylan, Mason, and Jordyn, Gary Sanders and wife Lacey and their child, Peyton, and Sara Detwiler and husband Lewis and their children, Bintley, Mayah, and Oliver; her sister, Kathy Jackson; and her brother, Wesley Smith.
