Dale Ardith Pierce, born on August 25, 1936, in San Francisco, California, passed away peacefully from complications due to Alzheimer's on June 6, 2025. She is survived by her two daughters, Rose Schroeder and Mary Ehrenberger, son-in-law John Ehrenberger, her brother, Walter Knapp, four grandchildren, Christopher Schroeder, Andrew Ehrenberger, Ashley Lopez, Jonathan Ehrenberger, and three great grandchildren, Aubrey Lopez, Spencer and Stanley Schroeder, as well as a niece Lavern Saloom, and nephew Daniel Knapp.
Dale had a love for art throughout her life. She particularly loved oil and watercolor painting but also did pen and ink drawings, with one (a hidden object) picture being published in Highlight's For Children magazine. One of her cherished moments was winning a blue ribbon at the Multnomah County Fair in Oregon for an abstract painting that depicted herself with her favorite pets.
She was also a woman of strong faith. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she lived her life by the Bible's moral standards and freely gave of her time to help those she contacted to learn about the Bible, and the promises she looked forward to for a better future. Her love for God was something she was able to hold on to even during the most difficult part of her illness.
Dale's legacy will be carried on by her loved ones and the many lives she touched.
