Obituary
Dianna Lynn Lane Howell, age 73, of Point, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at her home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00P.M. Monday, March 20, 2023, at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.
Dianna Howell was born on October 10, 1949, in Carmi, Illinois to the late Mr. Clinton Houston Lane and Kathryn Ann Cox Dillsworth. She was raised in Norris City, Illinois, moving to Dallas in 1991 and settling in Point in 2013. She married the love of her life, James Howell on November 12, 1982, in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Dianna had a passion for rescuing stray cats. She also had an incredible green thumb in the garden. Her flower and vegetable gardens were admired by many people. She also enjoyed trying her luck with the penny slots in the Choctaw casino. Dianna was the glue that held her family together. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, sister, and wife.
She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 40 years, James Howell of Point; Son, Jonathan Zachary Howell of Dallas; Brother, Clinton Mark Lane of Plano; Sister, Janet Ann Vickers and husband David of Omaha, Illinois.
