D.E. was born in Sulphur Springs, Tx to Monroe Burnett & Sarah Wallace Burnett. At just 73 De passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family members.
D.E. worked several places including: Grand Prairies: Dukes Exxon, Dave’s Wrecker Service, Kens Auto Graff Chevrolet, City of Grand Prairie, which he retired from after 17+ years in 2001, and Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington. D.E.s Hobbies were Cookouts, Sitting in his Garage, 63 ½ and 64 Ford Galaxies, as well as other older cars. D.E. adored all of his grandchildren. He had a puppy named Coyote he Loved so much that every time he moved the dog would cling to the bottom of his pants. Herman stayed on the bed with him until the very end and is still lost looking for him.
D.E.is survived by his Wife April Burnett of 44 years; Daughter Angelique-Husband Kevin, Son Don Burnett-Wife Becky: His Grandchildren: Dane and Brynn Burnett and Darlene, Calandryll, and Bellah Mcclean, His sister Mary Jo Conyers, In Laws, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, + a lot of relatives and friends.
D.E. was preceded in death by his Parents, 4 brothers, Dewey, Wayne, Carl, And Marion-Wife Leta Burnett, his Sister Juanita Rackler-Husband Sam, their 4 Children, and his Granddaughter Macallea Mcclean.
