Connie Sue (Bragg) Self

Connie Self, age 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026. On October 19, 1965, Connie was born in San Angelo, TX to parents Bobby Bragg and Sallie Bragg.

Sometime later on, the family relocated back to the Caddo Mills area. Connie attended the Caddo Mills schools.

Later on, Connie worked at various jobs including auto parts, manufacturing, and house painting.

In March of 1984 she gave birth to her only child Jacob Bragg .

Connie enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, billiards and Nascar.

In November of 1997 Connie married Stan Self of Emory and they relocated to Winnsboro, Tx for 15 years before moving back to Emory.

She is survived by her husband Stan Self. Her son Jacob and wife Michelle Bragg; granddaughter Kayla Bragg from Royse City; her brothers Bobby Bragg from Alba; Greg and Stacy Bragg of Caddo Mills. Several nieces and nephews.

Connie is preceded in death by Bobby and Sallie Bragg.
