Christie Fincher

Christie Lea Fincher went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2025, at the age of 67, in Tyler. A celebration of life will be held Saturday November 29, 2025, at 2pm in Quinlan.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Christie was the daughter of Richard and Harveyetta Watkins. She was the third of four children and grew up alongside her three brothers in Garland, Texas. Christie enjoyed music, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She always took pride in her appearance and had a deep love for fashion. Known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit, she touched many lives with her generosity. She was lovingly known as Mimi, and her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her two brothers Kevin and Ricky Watkins.

Christie is survived by her brother Steve Watkins; her daughter, Harveyetta Stewart; her son, Raymond Fincher; her granddaughter, Tara Fincher; and her grandsons, Eli Stewart and Hayden Fincher. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
