In Loving Memory of Cheri Suzzette McDaniel
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheri Suzzette McDaniel, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and nana. Cheri passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 27, 1968, to Stanley and Mary Quist Sr., both of whom preceded her in death, along with her cherished eldest brother, Skipper Dale Quist, and two beloved grandchildren, Nevaeh Bueno and L.B. Waggoner, mother in law Gala Faye Mote and father in law Daniel McDaniel.
Cheri's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 37 years, Michael McDaniel, and a loving mother to her three daughters: Candi McDaniel (Eric), Jacquelyn Waggoner (Adam), and Lisa Bueno (Josh). She was a proud and doting nana to her grandchildren: Kaleb Waggoner, Zachery McDaniel, Emma McDaniel, Landon Waggoner, Elijah Bueno, Collin McDaniel, Malachi Bueno, Ryker McDaniel, and Kaleigh Waggoner. Her love for them knew no bounds, and her nurturing spirit will live on through each of them.
Cheri is also survived by her brother Stanley Quist Jr. (Jennifer), sister Sheri Bankston (A. Brett), and sister-in-law Jackie Quist, brother in law Carl McDaniel (Mary), sister in law Tina Rodriguez (Don)along with several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. Though she will be deeply missed by all who knew her, Cheri's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
Cheri was a woman of immense strength and compassion, always putting the needs of others above her own. Whether offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or sharing a warm embrace, she made everyone feel loved and cherished. Her heart was as big as her smile, and she had a remarkable ability to bring light into the lives of those around her.
In the days and years to come, Cheri's family and friends will remember her for her unwavering love, her infectious laughter, and the countless precious memories she created. Her spirit will remain a guiding force in their lives, and she will never be forgotten.
A private family memorial service will be held to honor Cheri's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with funeral expenses and other family needs. Donation options are Venmo GoFund Me and CashApp
