Charles David High

Charles David High age 66 of Elkhart, Texas passed away on April 12, 2023.

David was born in Terrell, on December 22, 1956, to Charles Boyd High and Peggy June Baker Bailey. He was raised around Terrell and Kaufman and attended Kaufman High School. David worked as an oilfield salesman and retired after working for Halliburton for 21 years and Baker Hughes over 15 years. He enjoyed working with wood and building, flying model airplanes, collecting coins, going fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, really anything outdoors, and two stepping at any moment. David gave a helping hand and never met a stranger; he was a natural flirt and loved to dance. He wanted those around him to laugh and he was always cracking jokes, most of all David loved spending time with his pets, family and being a grandfather.  

David is survived by his sons, Paul David High and wife Tammy of Missouri, Jonathan Luke High of Missouri, daughters Megan Christine Staniszewski and husband Paulo, of Houston, Morgan Jane High of Houston, sister Louann High Grimes of Palestine, grandchildren, Evan High, Autumn High, Sofia Staniszewski and many extended family and friends.

Charles is preceded in death by Charles Boyd High and Peggy June Bailey.
