Charles Ray Anderson 78yr old, born January 14, 1948, to Grace Faye and Ray Anderson, at Parkland Hospital, Dallas Texas, has gone Home on April 24, 2026. Charles is preceded by his loving wife Paulette Anderson, parents Faye and Ray Anderson, sisters- Charlene, Patsey, and Linda. And brothers Thomas, Johnny and stepbrother Robert.
Charles met Paulette in Nebraska while visiting his sister Linda, he soon married Paulette in Washington Kansas. Shortly after the birth of their first child Teri, they moved back to Texas, where Charles went to work for Irving School District for a number of years. He then hired on at Ed Bell Construction out of Dallas Tx where he worked for 35 years before retiring Charles moved his Family to Quinlan Texas in mid 70's, where he enjoyed hauling horses and his girls to play days in the East TX area.
Charles also enjoyed parachuting with his green military parachute, being pulled by Paulette either behind the boat on the lake, or by the bumper of the old truck. Charles very much loved to water ski, he prided himself in his ability to slalom ski. He also enjoyed pulling his kids and grandkids in the inner tube behind his boat. Charles Ray Anderson was a father, Papa, Great Papa, Son and Brother. Charles was the strongest, kindest, stern, sweetest, onery hardheaded man I've ever or will ever have known. Never was there a day if I, my sisters or brother, or any of his grandkids ever needed anything, that he wasn't there helping in whatever way he could.
He left this earth after having a hard life early on, he overcame hardships working from the time he was a child, till he retired after 35 years at a job he was proud of. Our dad may have left this earth, but he will forever be ingrained in our hearts, as he instilled values, morals, toughness, free thought, the fortitude to survive anything no matter the circumstances, and to love. We, my siblings, are thankful for the raising he and mom gave us. As I could go on about Our Dad, Our Papa, I'll end in saying Thank You Dad, We love you, we will miss you, and in saying a Prayer that you rest in eternal Peace. We Love you Charles Ray Anderson, Our Dad, Our Papa.
