Bobby Joe Peters, 65, of Quinlan, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2025.Born on March 4, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, Bobby was the son of Ernest Peters, SR and Bonnie Childress.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jewell Halbert.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lisa Owen; his children, Misty Daggs and husband Jacob, Bobby “Joey” Peters Jr., and Danielle Brumfield and husband Jake; his brothers, Ernest Peters Jr., Mark Peters, and J.R Peters; and his 10 grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Bobby was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was hardworking, loyal, and the kind of man who showed his love through his actions, always dependable and always putting his family first.
He enjoyed the things that brought him peace and happiness: cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR, cooking out on the grill, and relaxing with old western shows.
Those who knew Bobby will remember his big heart, his presence, and the way he lit up whenever he talked about his grandkids. His passing leaves an emptiness in the lives of those who loved him, but his memories will continue to carry them through.
