Billy Dean Cantrell

Billy Dean Cantrell, 58, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Funeral services celebrating Billy’s life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home with Brother Kelvin Prock officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Billy was born on May 16, 1961 in Greenville, Texas. He is the son of Paul and Arline (Bandy) Cantrell. He was raised and educated in Garland where he graduated from South Garland High School He worked as a truck driver and hauled diesel for the oil fields. Billy also owned Future Landscape with his Dad. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Steve and Bonnie Cantrell. Hunting and fishing were his main hobbies and he enjoyed participating in the McDonald’s Big Bass Splash tournaments. He also liked to watch the Cowboys, golfing and riding motorcycles with his sons.

He is loved and will be missed by his parents Paul and Arline Cantrell of Quinlan; sons Sidney Hoffpavir of Plano, Colby Cantrell and Kailyn Nelms of Rowlett, Austin Cantrell of Rowlett; brother Michael Wayne Cantrell of Garland; former wives Cyd Shoemaker and Sheri Downing.
