Billie Jo “B.J.” Allmon Hadley, 83, of Dallas, passed away on May 22, 2022. She was born on August 18, 1938, in Cleburne to Charlie B. and Mable Clark Allmon.
B.J. was born and raised in Cleburne and was the 2nd of 18 children. She left home after graduation from Cleburne High School and immediately went to Dallas, where she started working for Hartford Insurance. She retired from Hartford Insurance after 41 years of employment there.
She loved her family and friends, which included a great number of nieces and nephews of which she commented, “There are so many I have lost count.”
She enjoyed photography, reading, cooking and loved taking care of her many plants.
B.J. is survived by her husband, Paul Hadley; stepdaughter, Teresa Hadley Rochevot and David; brothers: Dwight D.E. Allmon, Buford Allmon, Jerry D. Allmon; sisters: Linda S. Reid, Kathleen Allmon, Martha Allmon, Wanda Reyes, Tammy D. Allmon, Carolyn Allmon; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Charles B. Allmon, Larry J. Allmon, John A. Allmon, Curtis D. Allmon, Douglas R. Allmon; sisters: Shirley A. Buelltelllo, Mary L. Capps and Sonja A. Ramsey.
