Barbara Teel

Barbara Jan Williams Teel, 77 of Greenville passed peacefully on November 19, 2022.

Barbara was born on December 26, 1944, to William Thomas Williams and Vaude Marie Keeney Williams.

Barbara was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She married Bobby Eugene Nix from January 21, 1960, to March 29, 1982. She remarried on October 17, 1983, to Britton Edward Teel.  She retired from Raytheon E systems where she was a government inspector, classification circuit boards and QC Supervisor.

Barbara is survived by; her husband, Britton Edward Teel, her sister, Rebecca Ann Williams, son Bradley Keith Nix, half-brother Thomas Ray Williams, 2 half-sisters, daughter Tammy & husband Lazarus Aguillon, grandchildren, Ricky Gene Nix Jr, Brandy Aguillon, Brandon Aguillon and wife Melissa, Tiffany, and husband Wendal Schones, Michael J. Nix Jr., Katie, and husband Alex Divine, Tammy and husband Corey Wood, Jesse Teel, and Danny Teel, great-grandchildren, Trenton Nix, Michael Nix 3rd, Kaydon Schones, Brennan Aguillon, Aiden Cano, Madalyn Wood, and Danny Teel, Jr. 

Preceded in death by her parents, sons, Ricky and Michael Nix, ex-husband Bobby Nix.

Thank you, Lord, for the special time you gave me to spend with my mother, 1 year and 11 days of very loving tender times.

Starts Without Me

When tomorrow starts without me,

Please try to understand. That an angel

Came and called my name, and took

Me by the hand; Then angel said my

Place was ready, In Heaven far above,

And that I’d have to leave behind all

Those I dearly love. But when I walked

 through Heaven’s Gates, I felt so much

at home, for God looked down, smiled

at me and told me “Welcome Home.”

So, when tomorrow starts without me,

Don’t think we’re far apart, for every

 time you think of me, I’m right

There in your heart.
