Barbara Henley

Barbara Elaine (Johnson) Henley, 61, of Quinlan, TX died June 30, 2025, in Greenville, TX.

Barbara was born in Charleston, SC in 1964 to Oscar F. Johnson and Shirley May Johnson.  Barbara attended school and graduated from Del City High School, Del City, OK.  This is where her father retired from the U.S. Air Force. 

Barbara’s entire adult life was spent in Quinlan, TX where she had various jobs.  Her last employment was in the home health care industry. 

Barbara loved fishing, boating and the lake lifestyle.  She had a variety of animals over the years.  Her favorite were her house cats.  Barbara was a Dallas Cowboy football fan and loved watching car races.  Her phone should have shown “Do Not Disturb” if either of the two were on tv because she wouldn’t be on the phone long.  Barbara could tell some of the wildest stories just so she could laugh and make you laugh with her. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her siblings, Glenda Parks, Mike Johnson, and Connie Durham. 

The family has decided to forgo a funeral service.
