Juanita Annette Pierce, age 75, of Commerce, TX passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024, at 3:16 a.m. surrounded by her family.
After months of fighting through the battle against Alzheimer's Disease, I now sit at the feet of Jesus!
I have been blessed to be the matriarch of my beloved family. I leave behind my devoted husband, Joe Allen Pierce, our children: Garold James Pierce and his wife Tiffany Pierce, Nathan Allen Pierce and his wife Paula Pierce, Regina Pierce and Tracy Jr. Pierce and his wife Savannah. Among my children, I also leave behind my lovely grandchildren and precious great- grandchildren.
I am joining my beloved father and mother in heaven as well as my adored sisters and brother.
I enjoyed my occupation as a caretaker/ nurse for hospice- Taking care of those who were in desperate need of care and compassion.
More than anything, I thrived at my church of nineteen years, Daugherty Baptist Church. I took pride in singing my heart out for the Lord as well as helping my husband (the preacher) with his scripture. Oh, how wonderful it was to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ!
This Journey has taught me many valuable lessons that I cherished every day. Appreciate and value the time you have with your family and friends. Leave no stone left unturned. Give your time, affections, your knowledge often to those around you. Live your life with no regrets and live life to the fullest. Most of all, if you haven't already found a home church, I encourage you to find one that comforts your soul and brings you closer to God. If you're reading this, just know there is always an empty seat for you to sit at Daugherty Baptist and there you will surely find the peace and love your heart longs for. I will be looking down from above rejoicing with you always. I leave you now with all the love in my heart and soul.
-Sincerely,
Annette Pierce.
