Angela Rivera Obituary

Angela Joaquina Rivera 87, passed away on May 6, 2022, at her home in Royse City with her loving son beside her.

Angela was born on September 6, 1934, in Comerio, Puerto Rico to the late Rafael Rivera and Margot Colon. Angela was raised in Bayamon and Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She married Pablo A Romero Rivera on June 7, 1959. Angela worked for Centro Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico, and later worked at Osceola County Health Department in Florida as a clerk. She was full of life; loved knitting beautiful things for her family and friends; loved doing all kinds of crossword puzzle; and reading the best book ever printed, the Bible.

Angela is loved and will be greatly missed by her son Pablo “Chico” Romero and Deanna of Royse City; brothers: Jose Rafael Rivera and Carmen of San Juan PR., Jorge Ivan Rivera and Millie of Kissimmee, Fl, Carlos Antonio Rivera of San Juan Pr; grandchildren: Pedro Romero, Josue Romero, Tallianne Barnes, Braiden Barnes; and great-grandchild Castiel Rodriquez Cruz.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents: husband: grandparents: Monserate Rivera and Joaquina Colon, Ramon Colon Cervera and Angela Rodriguez; brothers: Hector Manuel Rivera, Luis Raul Rivera; and sister, Flor De Maria Rivera.
