Allene Goines

Allene Elizabeth Goines, age 57, of Quinlan, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, November 8, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church in Lone Oak with burial following in Hooker Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Allene Elizabeth Burnell was born on March 12, 1967, in Sinton, Texas to Don Gary Burnell and Vicki Lynn Briscoe Burnell. She married John R. Goines Jr on October 10, 1992, at the First Baptist Church in Burkburnett, Texas.

Beth was raised in Sinton and graduated from Beaumont Westbrook High School. She earned her LVN nursing license from Vernon Regional Junior College. Beth was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Lone Oak. She enjoyed making crafts, decorating, cooking, baking, shopping and purses.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her husband, John Goines of Quinlan, sons, William B. Borque and wife Denna of Quinlan, Jonathon G. Borque and wife Elisa of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Dustin B. Goines of Quinlan; daughter, Samatha J. Goines of Arlington; father, Don G. Burnell; grandchildren, Charlotte A. McNamara, Tyler J. Borque, Nicolas M. Borque, Noel M. Borque, Emery R. Borque, Leia J. Borque, Kingston A. Borque, Ryder C. Borque, Michael (Dustin) Good, and Carter Sexton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Lynn Burnell and brother, Blake (Heath) Burnell.
