Aline was born August 16, 1929 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Silas “Shorty” and Beulah Wilbanks.  Aline met John Sullivan at a carnival in 1944, where he was operating a Ferris wheel and would not let her off until she agreed to go on a date with him.  They were married and raised their kids in New Hope, Texas.  Aline was of the Christian faith.  She was a caring wife, a loving mother, and a loving mamaw and nanny.  Aline was loving, but stern – if you asked why, she would say, “Because I said so.  She only had to tell you once – you knew to do it. In her early years, Aline worked on the farm picking cotton.  She was the “Cotton Picking Queen!”  No one could keep up with her or pick as much cotton as she could.  Her main occupation was a seamstress for 50 years in McKinney and a few years in Princeton.  Aline was a top-notch seamstress.  She taught her daughter, daughter-in-law Doris, and granddaughter to sew and anyone else that wanted to learn.  She did get a needle through her fingers several times.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband “Jim”, son Jimmy Sullivan, daughter baby girl, stepdaughter, Pam Beaty, brothers Arnold and Larry Wilbanks, sisters Lillie Emeyabbi, Doris Shewbirt, and Christine Wilbanks, grandson Jason Hughes.

She is survived by her son Ricky Sullivan and wife Esther, daughters Carolyn Morrison and husband Ricky of Princeton, Texas; daughters Carolyn Morrison and husband Ricky of Princeton, Texas, Pearl Emeyabbi and husband Wayne of McKinney, Texas; stepson Carl Sullivan and wife Dang of Benton, Arkansas; sister Jossie Gilbert of Princeton, Texas; daughters-in-law Doris Sullivan of Levittown, Pennsylvania and Cindy Sullivan of Newark, Arkansas; sisters-in-law Secretha Lue of Alton, Missouri, Willie Sullivan of Searcy, Arkansas, and Martha Sullivan of Melissa, Texas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Aline loved and cherished her family and friends.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
