Wynona Dean Obituary

An opening for a second soprano for the choir in heaven has come available, and Mrs. Wynona Faye (Justus) Dean has been asked to join. On June 6th of 2019 she accepted the offer and has gone to join the angels and sing with the choir. Wynona was born on the 18th day of January in the year of 1939, in Atoka Oklahoma, to Reverend Junny G. Justus and Mary B. Justus. She was the sixth of eight children. On February 27th of 1960 Wynona married Douglas E. Dean. They had two daughters that she took great pride in raising and helping them to become the women they are today. Wynona loved photography and could most likely be seen with her camera in hand, taking pictures of her family and friends. She was a girl scout leader and PTA president. At Indian Hill Baptist Church, you could find her serving as a member of the choir as well as a Sunday School teacher. She also a leader in the youth group and of the puppet ministry. She loved reading her bible and when she could no longer read for herself, she enjoyed the time with her older sister Vivian, who would sit by her side and read to her. She worked as a real estate agent, and later worked and retired from Gorman Company in Midlothian, Texas. Wynona is survived by her eldest daughter Carol Harris and her husband Don, sons Mathew and his wife Lauren and John. Her youngest daughter Michele Fecteau and her husband Vincent and children Amanda Davis and her husband James, Richard and Ryan Bennett. Her husband Doug, sisters Katherine and Rosemary, brothers Delbert and Ray, along with her parents have all preceded her into heaven. There will be a graveside service for Douglas and Wynona Dean at the DFW National Cemetery on June 21st at 11:15 a.m. Matthew 25:23 His master said, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”
