Susan Ann McLemore Davis, 65, of Emory went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services celebrating Susan’s life will be held under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in Emory with Pastor Jimmy Jarrett officiating with interment immediately following at Turner Cemetery in Emory. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Susan was born October 12, 1951 in Dallas, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Robert McLemore and Clarice Ross McLemore. She was raised and educated in Rains County. She married Michael Davis on November 27, 1968 and they made their home in Rains County. She worked as a secretary for numerous businesses thru the years. Susan was also preceded in death by her husband in 2009, son Brad Davis in 2000, siblings Elsa Boag, Wanda Rogers, Ronnie McLemore and Martha Elvrum. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is loved and will be missed by her son Brent Davis and wife Bonnie of Emory; grandchildren Brenden, Jacob, Corey, and Caleb; 2 great-grandchildren Brayden and Briley; brother Richard McLemore of Washington State, sister Linda Davis and husband Clarence of Emory and Patricia Griffin of Hunt County.
