Sherri was born August 27, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. She is the daughter of Mamie Maner Horn and John Aubrey Horn, Sr.  Sherri was raised in Dallas and later moved to Mabank where she attended and graduated from Mabank High School.  She enjoyed watching football, playing pool, card games and visiting with her grandkids, who she spent a lot of time with, even when she wasn’t feeling well, which consumed many years of her life.  She also loved her family very much.  Another past time of hers was always trying to keep up with where Jr. was!! Ha Ha!  She is preceded in death by her father, and brother’s John Horn, Jr. and Steven Horn.

She was loved and will be missed dearly by her significant other Jr. Garrett of Athens; mother Mamie Horn of Mesquite; son Randy Meredith and wife Marisel of Gun Barrel City, John Eric Meredith of Seven Points, Stacey Kinsey and significant other Meredith of New York; Jamie Garrett of Eustace; daughters Kayla Garrett of Gun Barrel City and Amanda Garrett of Eustace; brother James Murry and wife Betty of Bedford and brother Michael Horn and wife Marie of Michigan; sister Sue Leffingwell of Mesquite; and eighteen grandchildren with one more being born this Saturday in New York that will be named after Sherri, as well as several nieces and nephews.
