Steven Aaron Walker, 51, of West Tawakoni went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 30, 2019 in Quinlan. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at West Tawakoni City Park in Pavilion 3 by the Lake. Motorcycles are welcome.
Steve was born on October 1, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. He is the son of the late Preston and Audrey Vines Walker. He attended school in Oak Cliff and Lancaster. Steve married the former Miss Velma “Jeane” Mills on October 31, 2014 and they made their home in West Tawakoni. He worked as an HVAC technician for 30 years and was currently employed by Moses Mechanical. He was a Harley Rider and was always happy when Jeane was riding behind him on the Harley. He was an avid fisherman, a Nascar fanatic, loved The Cowboys and never missed his Monday & Tuesday night Wrestling shows. Steve was a master at growing Elephant Ears and all things with his green thumb except, grass. His shop was his get away & man cave where he spent many enjoyable hours. He was especially fond of his red truck. He loved his baby girl with all his heart and his grandbabies were his world.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife Jeane; daughters Kasie Walker and husband Rodney Smallwood of Quinlan, Lillian Allen and husband Jackson of Minot, North Dakota; son Ronnie rogers Jr. and Mariah Fields of Lake Fork; brothers Gary Walker of Tyler, David Horner and wife Dianna of Quinlan; grandchildren Gracie and Charleigh Smallwood, Elijah Fields; his ‘fat pups’ Weezey & Sadie Mae and countless other friends.
