Ronnie Nalls Obituary

Ronnie Leon Nalls, 65, of Quinlan, TX passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born in Wills Point, Texas on April 2, 1952 to parents Lee Ottis Nalls and Alice Odessa Walker (Peggy). He enlisted in the United States Army following his school years and completed his tour in Germany. He went on to become a truck driver while continuing to pursue his lifelong dream of a singing/music career. In his later years, his life took on new meaning and direction as he focused on Jesus, and became a church pastor.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Phillip Nalls and Johnny Howard. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carlene; daughters Brandy Larson and husband, Lochwood, Vicky Mobley and husband, Kenny, Tina Khwaja and husband, Shayan; grandchildren Ryan, Jaime, Conrad, McKenna, Ethan, Adam, and Zaki; siblings Debbie, Gaylon, Pauletta, and Winston of his father’s side and Patricia, Robby, and Lisa of his mother’s side along with many other family members and friends.

Ronnie, a good hearted man, sincerely loved being a husband, father, grandpa, brother, friend, performer, and pastor!  He celebrated life with his phenomenal singing, his special brand of “3 Stooges” humor, and mostly, by sharing the love of his Lord and Savior! He always relished a good game, fishing, riding motorcycles, and exercising his bargain basement negotiating skills.

He leaves a lasting legacy that touched many lives from his family and friends, to his church congregation and the inmates he ministered to for over 10 years. He truly loved all people and genuinely cared for them.

Ronnie’s Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
