Robert Keith Hamilton

Robert Keith Hamilton, 61, of Wills Point went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services celebrating Robert’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home.

Robert was born on March 1, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the son of  Sue (Sebastion) Hamilton and the late Walter Hamilton. He was raised in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School. He worked as a CAD drafter and for Sunset Resort in their maintenance department for the last 9 years. He was also preceded in death by his brother Steve Hamilton. In 2006, Diane introduced Robert to Sandy while he was painting a fence and it was the beginning of their love story. Robert married the former Miss Sandy McKain on July 12, 2008 and made their home in the Tawakoni Lake area. They spent all their free time on the lake in their floaties with fins just floating around for hours. He also enjoyed fishing and television especially The Simpsons, having over 100 hours of that show recorded. He loved his job at Sunset Resort and thought a lot of the owners Ken & Nanette McCullough.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Sandy; his children Robert, Bre and Alex and grandchildren; stepchildren David and Shawntah McKain and their son Aloysius; Austin and Molly Sramek and their child Isaac; brother John and Robin Hamilton; sisters Jane and Paul Ito, Mary and David Bauernfeind, sister-in-law Debbie Hamilton and Scooby-Doo his faithful puppy dog. He was proud of his many nieces and nephews and he also leaves behind many friends and other family members.
