Rachel "Winonia" (Brimer) Morrow

Winonia Morrow, age 78 of Wills Point passed away peacefully surrounded by a room full of her family softly singing her favorite hymn.

Winonia was born March 5, 1940 in Emory, TX. She was born to Jessie Lee Gowin Brimer and Bill Brimer. She was one of nine children. Winonia married Larry Dale Morrow March 1, 1968 and was a dedicated and supportive wife, mother, homemaker, and worker of the land that worked harder than most men. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, two daughters, DeeDee Mayo & John Balentine of Emory and John & Jody Allen of Haughton, LA; grandkids, Rachel Webb & David Crider, Dale & Carrie Thompson, Renee & Shawn Breaux, Lee Allen & Jessica Windham, Deuce Hendley & Linh Vo, Chad & LaDonna Hendley. Great grandkids, Samatha & Canyon Gibby, Dilan House, Tyler Thompson, Shania Dillard, Bailee Breaux, Samatha Breaux, Portia Vaughan, Juliet Thompson, Beckett Breaux and one great great grandson Dustin Thompson. 2 brothers, Billy Brimer and Marvin and Sandy Brimer. An abundance of loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, grandson Dustin Bill Allen, brothers, RG Brimer, Burl Brimer, Cleburne Brimer, Joe Brimer and sisters, Vernell Briggs & Juanice Martin.

Her celebration of life service will be held at the Wildflower in Emory, TX on Thursday Dec. 27, 2018 at 2 PM. All family and friends are invited to help us celebrate her life.
