Phyllis Renae Jackson, 58, of Point went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Dallas.  Funeral services celebrating Phyllis’ life will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Daniels officiating.  Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 6:00 - 800 P.M.

Phyllis was born on October 28, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Patsy Broyles and the late Milton Broyles, Sr. She was raised and attended school in Dallas. On September 1, 1979, Phyllis married James Jackson and they made their home in Dallas before moving to the Quinlan and Point area.  She was employed at Wal-Mart for 23 years, working in the Greenville and Terrell stores.  Phyllis loved to cook, do crafts and make flower arrangements, take care of her family, and watch Law & Order on television.  She loved being “Granny” to all the grandkids.  She is preceded in death by her father Milton Broyles, Sr.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband James Jackson, Sr. of Point; mother Patsy Broyles of Quinlan; sons James (J.J.) Jackson, Jr. and wife Samantha of West Tawakoni, and Bryan Jackson of Point; daughters Jamie Mayberry and husband Tony of Point, and Bridget Rivas and husband J.R. of Austin; brother Milton Broyles, Jr. and wife Courtney of Quinlan; sisters Janice Broyles of Quinlan and Patricia Kumpe of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren Erik, Vanessa, Marcus, Ashlynne; great-granddaughter Leah; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
