Like many others, I have had the good fortune and privilege to call Peggy McDaniel my friend. To be her friend is to be considered her family. "Family" is not only defined by last name or blood. It is defined by commitment and love. Peggy loved and cherished her friends as her friends loved and cherished her to the end of her days.
Peggy was a special person with kindred heart, a fierce mind and brave spirit. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed and to have had her in my life for a time. She will be missed immensely.
