Peggy Lee Fugatt, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, June 24, 2018 in Tyler, TX. Memorial services celebrating Peggy’s life will be held at a later date. Peggy was born July 16, 1941 in Senatobia, Mississippi. Peggy was the wife of the late Gene Kenneth Fugatt (and previously Dale Berry). She is the eldest daughter of the late Sidney Lee and Sidney Louise Jones. She would often reminisce about her childhood as some of her most treasured memories, working on the farm, taking care of her siblings, and running the hills of Senatobia in her bare feet. Her passion was to live a life of adventure, travel, and listening to good music; especially with her sisters and children by her side.
Peggy will continue to be loved and remembered by her family. Her children, Sidney Berry and his wife Dana. Brian Berry and his wife Cherie, Angela Berry, Gene Fugatt, Alexander Fugatt and his wife Crystal, Casey Fugatt and his wife Gilene. Her grandchildren, Michelle Haygood, Sidney Berry, Malcolm Russ, Kathryn Russ, Jacob and Tristan Fugatt, Logan Fugatt, Camden Fugatt. Her great grandchildren, Nathan Berry and Ahmed “Eddie” Yassin. Her siblings, Kathy Hartzog, Carol Krugler, Roy Lee and wife Linda, Fran Gill and husband Charles and her many nieces and nephews.
Her spirit will be joining those who have preceded her in death, brother James “Jimmy” Lee, sister Ruth Ward, and brother Jerry Lee.
