On Sunday October 14th we will gather at 301 VZ County Road 3841, Wills Point, TX to celebrate the life of our Daddy/Granddaddy. We would love for you to celebrate with us. We will meet at 11 A.M. on that Sunday morning. There will be food served, so we ask you to please bring food/drinks of your choice. We would also ask if you have anything you would like to share about your experiences with him please feel free to speak as we would love to hear form you.
Nolan Ray Horton, 83, peacefully passed away in Greenville, Texas on Friday, September 21, 2018.
Mr. Horton was born on November 21, 1934 in Dallas, Texas. He is the son of the late Don Horton and Cleo Letha Carroll Horton. He was raised and educated in Pleasant Grove. He worked as a vending machine repairman all over the Dallas area for his whole career. He was very involved with his children from coaching his daughters in softball and basketball to playing darts with his son and even competing on a team together. Mr. Horton was also preceded in death by his brother Don Horton Jr. and son Nolan Ray Horton Jr. He was an avid SMU and Dallas Cowboys fan. In addition to spending time with his family he loved to fish.
He is loved and will be missed by his children Suzanne Patton of Rockwall, Robert Horton of Dallas, Michael Ray Horton of Carrollton, Daren Horton and wife Becki of Uncertain and Anna McBride and husband Bill of Alba; 16 grandkids, 40 great-grandkids and his first great-great-grandchild is due very soon.
