Nancy Butler Young, 80, of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Greenville. Funeral services celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Rev. Monte Weaver officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home.

Nancy was born on October 14, 1937 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Arlee and Christine Robinson Butler. She was raised in Quinlan and graduated from Quinlan High School. She went to work at Temco, where she worked on fuel tanks and later in the office. She retired from Raytheon as an Executive Secretary after 32 years. After retirement she enjoyed life and family caring for her parents and grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother Wendell Butler. She enjoyed Sewing, ceramics, painting and was a very crafty person.

She is loved and will be missed by her son Phil Young of Winnsboro; daughter Kathy Brown of Quinlan; grandchildren Tirzah Gabriel and Tony Brown; great-grandchildren William Brown, Ben Gabriel, Everlette Gabriel and Eli Brown.
