To Matthew Thompson's family,
It's hard to put into words the feelings and emotions that come with a loss of such magnitude. Words seem to have so little meaning at times like this. I am terribly sorry for the loss of Matthew. He was a great addition to our Latshaw team and will be greatly missed. He was doing the work he enjoyed the most, and in doing so was helping this industry and our country to reach their goal of energy self-sufficiency and help insure our national security. He was proud of the part he played in this. My prayers go out to his family, especially his wife and children. May The Lord bring peace to you at a time like this.

I am a fellow latshaw oilfield wife and I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that I am so so sorry for your loss!!! It's the constant fear we always have in this field. I also wanted to let you know that My husband and I as well as our entire church congregation are praying for you. We are youth pastors at a church in Amarillo, Tx. Please feel free to reach out if you need to. Prayers for the Lords guidance and his complete hedge of protection over your family. I'm so sorry to hear this. Matt was a loving father and a great husband. He always help anyone out that needed it. He always made sure his family was taken care of. He loved his family dearly.
