Marguerite Flink (Flink) Buell

Marguerite “Lolly” (Flink) Buell, a former Cornell, MI resident, born on July 2, 1929 in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Sadie Flink and the late Paul Flink, passed away at age 88 on May 21, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. Marguerite was married to the late David L. Buell (and previously William Hunt Sr.).  She was preceded in death by her husband, David; brothers, Paul Flink, Julian Flink, Charles Flink, and John Flink.

She leaves a legacy of sons, daughters, grandchildren, and people that considered her “Mom”.  She loved being a Mom and Grandma. Her door and heart were open to anyone who needed it. Her children and grandchildren were her life - she would recall the times with her children and grandchildren as her best moments.  She would pass on this legacy - wanting you to enjoy every moment possible with your children and grandchildren - time is short.

Among this legacy are her sons (including step):  William Hunt Jr, Sam Hunt, Mark Buell, and Julian Buell; her daughters (including step):  Linda Hendrickson, Lauren Keineth, Sharon Winkler, Margaret LaCrosse, Virginia (Ginny) Krouth, and 24 grandchildren plus numerous great grandchildren.

She also loved bowling, cooking, knitting, reading, gardening, playing games and cards, and most of all - spending time with her family. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Donations in Marguerite’s name can be sent to NMU Foundation (Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center) or your favorite Cancer Research Charity - please do so in lieu of flowers.
