Joe Ramirez 54 of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday September 16, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services celebrating Joe’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum in Rowlett with the Honorable Hershey Barnett officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Ingram Funeral Home.

Joe was born March 19, 1963 in Garland, Texas. He was the son of the late Ambrosio Roy Ramirez and Molly Gutierrez Ramirez. On November 18, 2002 he married Veronica Garcia and they made their home in Rockwall until moving to Quinlan in July of 2017.  He was a self-employed recycler who bought and sold scrap metal. He loved spending his free time with his kids and grandchildren and barbecuing with his family. He loved to deep sea fish with his nephew Chris, brother, Robert and best friend Steve. He would get the entire family involved in recycling and would travel state to state recycling. He would help anyone who needed it and would give the shirt off of his back if he could or he would find another way to help. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters MaryAlice Ramirez and Delia Ramirez.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Veronica; son, Ricky Ramirez of Quinlan; daughters, Misty Ritter & husband Jason, Deandra, Priscilla, Elizabeth and Delia all of Quinlan, 7 Grandchildren Antonio, Breanna, Alivia. Carissa, Carina, Valerie and Hope; brother, Robert Ramirez & wife Ruth of Dallas, sister Angelina Weed and husband Ben of Ohio, Sally Rivera of Rockwall and Juanita Ramirez of Rockwall; and many nieces and nephews.
