Donald Ray Arnold, 53, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his residence. Graveside services celebrating Donald’s life will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Dry Creek Cemetery in Hunt County with Pastor Shane Davis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Serving as Pallbearer: Bobby Arnold, Keith Duncan, Cory Ferrell, Cory Boyer, Jimmy Milsap, Justin Hennen, Buddy Scott, Bradlea Wilson, Bobby Wilson and Dwayne Cowart.
Donald was born on October 24, 1965 in Greenville, Texas. He is the son of Fay Tucker Hawkins and the late Charles Arnold. He was raised and educated in Quinlan. Donald married Vivian Wilson on October 31, 1984 and they made their home in Quinlan. He worked as a residential carpenter and cabinet maker. He did a little bit of everything throughout his career and even owned a car lot at one time. He was also preceded in death by his brother Clarence Arnold. Donald was a very caring and loving person who always thought of others first. He was always willing to lend a hand and no matter what even allowing people to stay rent free at times. He enjoyed playing jokes on people and made friends easily. He loved his grandkids with his whole heart.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife Vivian; daughters Crystal Gnepper of Quinlan, Ashley Rickard of Quinlan, Brandi and Cory Boyer of Quinlan; sisters Sherry and Richard Gonzalez of Wolfe City, Marcie and Keith Duncan of Wolfe City; brother Bobby and Lisa Arnold of Wolfe City and grandchildren Angelina Collard, Kathryn Collard, Jason Collard, Charles Gnepper, Matthew Rickard, Logan Rickard, Brooklyn Arnold, Karsen Boyer, Kinley Boyer and Dakota Boyer.
