Danny Joe Stout

August 28, 1949 ~ July 19, 2017 (age 67) 67 Years Old

Danny Joe Stout, 67, of Quinlan, Texas went home to be with Jesus on July 19, 2017.  There will be a visitation from 3:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. on Sunday, July 23 at Ingram Funeral Home.  Funeral services celebrating Danny’s life will be held at 11: 00 A.M. on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hailes officiating.  During the service there will be an open mic that will allow anyone wishing to share their funny memories of Danny.  Burial with military honors will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at DFW National Cemetery.

Danny was born August 28, 1949 in Dallas, Texas, to Troy and Margie Polk Stout.  He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1967.  As a high school student, Danny was part of the Skeeter Guard and developed friendships that lasted his entire lifetime. He attended Eastfield College where he majored in computer and software engineering.  On May 1, 1969 he married his high school sweetheart, Amy McKay Harper.  Danny proudly served his country for eight years in the U. S. Air Force.  He enjoyed working on and tinkering with electronics and computers, was a gifted problem solver, a great teaser, and a big fan of John Wayne movies. He served his church for many years as a deacon and was a friend to many.  He always gave generously of his time for anyone who was in need.  Danny is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Tara Lorraine Stout on February 21, 1984, and his uncle Clarence Hodge.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife and sweetheart of 48 years, Amy; daughter Sabrina Rochelle Plafcan of East Tawakoni, Texas; brother Troy “Dee” Stout of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren Heather Ramos, Christian Plafcan, and Christopher Ramos; and so many extended family members and dear friends.

Memorials may be made in Danny’s memory to the American Heart Association.
