Ben Tillman Bell Jr. 72 of West Tawakoni went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Dallas. Funeral services celebrating Ben’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home with Brother Barry Gee (nephew) officiating, interment will follow at Cleburne Memorial Park at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday.

Brad Endicott, Kory Harper, Timmy Bell, David McPherson, Ed Watson and Chipper Ohman will serve as pallbearers.

Ben was born October 25, 1945 in Cleburne, Texas. He is the son of the late Ben Tillman Bell Sr. and Mary Etta Lyons Bell. He was raised and attended school in Alvarado. He married the former Miss Clara Lee Morgan on March 4, 1968 and they made their home in Irving where he owned and operated a trailer repair company for many years. They moved to Lake Tawakoni Community in 1999 and he retired in 2008. Ben enjoyed the family gathering, he loved to go quail hunting and fishing. He took some chances going to the casinos. Enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved being with his grandkids.  Had great fun being the instigator and he loved his Coors Light.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 50 years, Clara. Daughters, Mistee Bell McPherson & husband David of Tyler and Wendy Bell Watson of Sachse. Grandkids, Jennifer, Amanda, Kylee, Broq,  Zachary and Destiny. Great-Grandkids, Landon, Emily and Jolie. Brother, Kenneth Bell & wife Carol of Grand Prairie. Sisters, Billie Elmore of Poetry and Tillie Timmons & husband Johnny of Gun Barrel City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
